Dental Care is proud to have his expertise in house. A Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, he
focuses on laser periodontal therapy, hard and soft tissue regeneration, and precise dental implant
placement. Over the years he has completed thousands of extractions, bone grafts, and implant surgeries,
helping patients restore health, function, and confidence.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Cifuni earned both his Doctor of Dental Medicine and his Specialty Certificate in Periodontology from the
Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. He then achieved board certification through the
American Board of Periodontology, a distinction granted to periodontists who meet rigorous standards of clinical

Much of Dr. Cifuni’s advanced training centers on delivering predictable results with minimal discomfort. He is
certified in the LANAP protocol through the Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry, allowing him to treat gum
disease with a minimally invasive laser technique. He also holds certification in IV and moderate parenteral
sedation from the Academy of Dental and Medical Anesthesia, ensuring patients remain relaxed during complex
procedures. Additional credentials include zygomatic and pterygoid implant training with facial reconstructive
expert Dr. Vishy Broumand and Full Arch Masters certification in immediately loaded digital workflows. These
skills enable him to manage challenging implant cases efficiently while prioritizing patient comfort and safety.
